A viral video on social media in recent days, evokes the sanctification of the name in the world. The video shows Rabbi Gabriel Benyon, a rabbi and Chabad emissary in Panama City, Panama, presenting a pair of shoes to an African American.
The incident took place a short time ago, during the world convention of Chabad emissaries in New York. Rabbi Benyon, who was traveling on the subway, got up from his seat at the end of the car and had shoes in his hands. “The recipient, utterly surprised, replied,” Wow, thank you! “

Rabbi Benyon recounts: “I went shopping in New York and bought a pair of sneakers. On the way back on the subway, a man without shoes came in. A few minutes passed and I thought, ‘Why can I buy new sneakers while this man is walking barefoot on the New York subway? So I gave him my shoes. “
The rabbi adds: “We should always be alert to the environment, think about how to do good to someone else. If someone sees another person in a difficult situation – it is our job to help him.”
