Doctors have announced that the Indian-origin writer Salman Rushdie has lost sight in one eye and an arm has been paralyzed after he was attacked by a baton at a literary conference in Shatqua, New York.

Last Aug. On the 12th, when Salman Rushdie, a writer of Indian origin, participated in a literary seminar held in Shatauqua, New York, USA, Hadi Matt (24) stabbed Rushdie with a knife on the stage.
