It is a musical journey between two works, two extraordinary destinies offered by the French violinist Renaud Capuçon. It brings together in one album the Four Seasons by Vivaldi, a monument of classical music, and two Violin concertos of the Chevalier de Saint-Georges, nicknamed the “African Mozart”. Born a slave in the 18th century in Guadeloupe, this composer and gentleman became one of the most prominent artistic – and sporting – personalities of his time.
