As such, he decided Artist John Johan He took matters into his own hands and created a gorgeous mockup of the Apple Watch Ultra with a darker titanium finish instead of the more natural look.
If Apple releases a “dark side” model, as Johann calls it, who designed it, it will undoubtedly be a success. The dark titanium case with a dark metal strap is elegant, as if sinister at the same time, lending a look completely different from the only available base color from Apple.
Johan demonstrates the great impact of the finished watch in this colour, by displaying the watch in night mode. The watch face might look like an artist-made effect in photo editing software, but that’s what the night mode looks like in watchOS 9.0. You can turn on Night Mode yourself by swiping to the Wayfinder watch face on the Apple Watch Ultra and turning on the Digital Crown. To deactivate the night mode, simply rotate the Digital Crown in the opposite direction.
