Indian star cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni and his wife Sakshi have started their own film company called ‘Dhoni Entertainment’ and are producing a film in Tamil. Based on Sakshi’s concept, the family entertainer is soon to launch.
It has been announced that the company is going to produce films with entertainment aspect in all languages. In particular, it has produced and released the popular documentary ‘Roar of the Lion’ based on the IPL matches played by Chennai Super Kings. This has also earned it a unique reputation in the product industry. Dhoni Entertainment has also produced a short cancer awareness film titled ‘Woman’s Day Out’.
Although Dhoni is a popular star cricketer in India, the bond between him and the people of Tamil Nadu is special. Excellent. To further strengthen this friendship, Dhoni Entertainment is producing its first film in Tamil. The film is a family entertainer conceptualized by Sakshi, Managing Director of Dhoni Entertainment. The film is directed by Ramesh Tamilmani, who wrote the 3D graphic novel ‘Atharva- The Origin’. This novel is a new age graphic novel. Also the details about the cast and crew working on the film will be officially announced soon.
Dhoni Entertainment is in talks with several filmmakers and screenwriters to develop and produce films with exciting and meaningful content, not only in Tamil but also in Sci-Fi, Crime Drama, Comedy, Suspense Thriller and many more.
Ramesh Tamilmani, who has got the opportunity to direct Dhoni Entertainment’s first production in Tamil, said, “I could feel the uniqueness of the story written by Sakshi Dhoni when I read it. I hoped this story of a brand new mother would make families happy, laugh and think. I am honored that he gave me the opportunity to screenplay this concept and make it into a film.” Ramesh Tamilmani said.
