No Davis Cup

Nadal’s absence is only a half surprise. He had skipped the event this season and was not on Spain’s latest lists, in agreement with Bruguera.
In the quarter-finals of the Davis Cup, Spain will face Croatia, after validating their ticket by finishing first in their group ahead of Canada, Serbia and South Korea.
As for Nadal, five times winner of the Davis Cup, he will undertake in the coming weeks to enrich his formidable individual record by one line (or even two), to the delight of the Parisian public.
