Samsung unveiled its new smartphone Galaxy A04e, which the company targets people with limited income.
The Galaxy A04e phone belongs to the Galaxy A04 series that the South Korean company announced last August, and the series also includes the Galaxy A04s, which was announced last September.
And because it belongs to the low-spec category, the Galaxy A04e offers a 6.5-inch HD + PLS LCD screen, and on the back is a 13-megapixel camera with another 2-megapixel depth camera. As for the front camera, it comes within a 5-megapixel cutout at the top of the screen.
The phone contains an eight-core processor, whose name was not mentioned, but it is expected to be MediaTek Helio G35, and random access memory (RAM) size of 3 GB, or 4 GB, and the internal storage comes in a size of 32 GB, 64 GB, or 128 GB, which is expandable. Via external memory cards.
The Galaxy A04e comes with support for 4G LTE networks only, and supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks instead of Wi-Fi 5, or Wi-Fi 6. As for its battery, it comes with a relatively large capacity, amounting to 5,000 mAh.

Programmatically, the phone, which comes with a thickness of 9.1 millimeters and weighs 188 grams, runs on the Android 12 operating system with the One UI Core 4.1 user interface, which is the version for low-spec phones from the basic user interface of Samsung.
Although Samsung did not mention anything about the body of the device, but it is likely that it will be plastic, which will come in three colors, namely: black, blue, and copper.
Compared to the Galaxy A04, the Galaxy A04e offers a primary camera with a lower resolution, and a smaller amount of RAM. As for the Galaxy A04s phone, the new phone offers a lower screen refresh rate, it supports a rate of 60 Hz compared to the other phone that supports 90 Hz, and they also differ in the accuracy and number of the primary camera, as the Galaxy A04s offers a third camera for close photography.
This, and Samsung did not reveal the price of the new Galaxy A04e phone, nor when it will be available in the market, but it is expected that it will be offered at a price ranging between 100 and 125 USD, given that the Galaxy A04s is sold at a price of approximately USD 160.
