Coimbatore: On behalf of Saravanampatti Vivegam School, a five-a-side football match for school students was held at the school ground.
16 school teams participated from different parts of the district. All the matches were played in knockout format.
In the final, the teams of Jayendra Saraswathi and Adhyayana School clashed.
In a thrilling final, Jayendra Saraswati School won the trophy 5 – 4. Winners were awarded trophy, medal and certificates.
Tamilnadu state football player Vikram Venkatachalam presented the prizes.
