Data for Monday 24 October. The positivity rate was 14.4% with 80,319 swabs
I’m 11,606 new cases of Covid in Italy (yesterday there were 25,554, here the bulletin). It goes up like this at least 23.359.680 the number of people who have contracted the SARS-CoV-2 virus (including recovered and died) since the outbreak began. THE deaths today I am 39 (yesterday 52), for a total of 178,633 victims from February 2020.
People recovered or discharged they are altogether 22.672.607 e 22.923 those that have become negative in the last 24 hours (yesterday 29,400). The positive current – the subjects who have the virus – turn out to be in everything 508.440you seem to -11.357 compared to yesterday (-3,899 the day before).
The swabs and the scenario
I total swabs (molecular and antigenic) processed are 80,319, against 161,787 tests yesterday. The 14.4% positive rate (approximation 14.44%); yesterday it was 15.8%.
Emilia-Romagna to have the highest number of new infections equal to +1,705 cases. Lombardy (+1.640 cases) and Lazio (+1.535 cases) follow. Here the table with all the data.
The health system
The beds occupied in ordinary Covid wards I am +107 (yesterday -30), for a total of 7.124
hospitalized. The beds occupied in intensive therapy I am -3 (yesterday +2) – this is the balance between people who entered and left in a day – for a total of 226 seriously ill, con 23 entrances to resuscitation (yesterday there were 31).
