MUMBAI: More than half of IT workers are ready to leave their current job within the next year, a study has revealed.
Skillsoft’s 2022 Skills and Salary Report states:
53 percent of IT workers are interested in moving to another job within the next year.
They have come to the idea of looking for other jobs due to the need for high wages, lack of training, and inability to balance both home and work.
In the study, 66 percent of those with decision-making power said their team lacked capacity; It has also decreased by 10 percent compared to last year.
More than anything else, the challenge that IT companies are going to face is that most people want to leave their jobs and move on. Retaining them will be a critical challenge for companies.
