A complaint has also been filed against the Kollam Judicial First Class Magistrate in the incident where the police beat up a soldier and his brother in Kilikollur and filed a false case. The allegation is that the victim was remanded by the magistrate as requested by the police, despite knowing that they had been beaten up in police custody. The complaint states that the soldier and his brother told the magistrate about the beating. The Ex-Servicemen’s Seva Parishad has demanded strong action against the magistrate.

Vignesh, the complainant, says that the police are not ready to admit fault in the incident. Vignesh responded to Twenty Four that the police are trying to justify more after the truth came out.
