Liverpool played in Amsterdam against Ajax on Wednesday (0-3) and qualified for the knockout stages of the Champions League.
Jürgen Klopp, the Liverpool coach, winner of Ajax 3 to 0 during the 5th day of the Champions League on Wednesday, considers the qualification deserved.
“Winning away at Ajax is a sign that we deserve to reach the knockout stages of the Champions League. Admittedly, we had success during the highlights of Ajax in the first period and in particular on this strike from Berghuis which hit the post. But the overall success makes sense. It’s never easy to win an away game in the Champions League. Our qualification is therefore deserved.
