Muscat: Qatar has started accepting applications for the multi-entry tourist visa implemented by Oman in connection with the World Cup. The Royal Oman Police informed that those who have a ‘Haiya’ card issued by Qatar should apply through the website evisa.rop.gov.om. Flight ticket, photograph, passport copy and hotel reservation confirmation in Oman should be submitted along with the application.

Along with supporting the Qatar World Cup, the Sultanate has introduced the free multi-entry tourist as part of its efforts to attract football fans from different parts of the world to Oman. Lt. Col. Ahmed bin Saeed Al Ghafri, Director of Administrative and Financial Affairs at the General Directorate of Passport and Civil Status, said that the visa will be valid for 60 days.

You can bring your family and stay in Oman on a multi-entry two-visit visa. The Haya Card is an entry pass to Qatar World Cup venues and a system for foreign spectators to enter Qatar and use public transport during the World Cup. Spectators who own match tickets need to apply for a Fan ID card through the Haya platform.

At the same time, Oman has prepared extensive facilities to receive World Cup fans. Muscat will be made the main city to receive tourists
