Meta Company celebrated Creator Day for its Instagram app in Chennai on Thursday.
More than 200 users who publish videos under various categories like Entertainment, Acting, Music, Art participated in the event.
To encourage creators to upload their Reels videos on social media like Facebook, Instagram, Meta is organizing an event called ‘Creator Day’ in major cities across India.

This event, which has already been held in Mumbai, Hyderabad and Kolkata, was held in Chennai today (Thursday).
Actress Tamannaah was the special guest at the event, which was designed as an opportunity for creators of Instagram Reels videos to meet and talk with each other.
Regarding this, Manish Chopra, Director and Chairman, Meta Partnerships, said, “Youngsters across the country are showcasing their talent in reels.

In recognition of this, we are celebrating Creator’s Day in various cities of the country this year. Locally prepared music, dance, acting etc. reach other countries of the world and become viral. Even the Tamil song Arabic Kuthu became viral globally. So we are trying to make more reel videos,” said Manish Chopra.

The event was attended by social media celebrities like Madan Kelari, Aditya RK, Rita Dharana, Mabusherib, Oi Gaming, Chaitanya Prakash and others.
