Unnimukundan starrer Malikappuram is the film that movie lovers are eagerly waiting for. Ever since its announcement, the film has received a lot of attention. Now the new poster of the film has been released by the crew. Unnimukundan has shared the poster with the caption ‘Tatvamasi’. Malikappuram is a film about Ayyappan, the Kaliyugavarada. The movie is directed by Vishnu Shashi Shankar, son of director Shashi Shankar, who is famous for films like Narayam, Kunhikoonan, Mr. Butler and Manthramotiram. The film’s pooja was held at Erumeli Sreedharma Shasta Temple.
The shooting of the film is progressing. Director Vishnu is also doing the editing of the film. After Patham Valav, Night Drive and Kadavar, this film is scripted by Abhilash Pillai. Along with Unnimukundan, child actors Sripath and Devananda also play the lead roles. The film “Malikappuram” tells the story of eight-year-old Kalyani and her superhero Ayyappan.
The film is jointly produced by Anton Joseph’s An Mega Media and Venu Kunnapilli’s Kavya Film Company. The film is produced by Priya Venu and Neeta Pinto. The film also stars Indrans, Manoj K Jayan, Saiju Kurup, Ramesh Pisharati, Sampath Ram and Alfi Panjikaran in lead roles. The cinematography of the film is done by Vishnu Narayanan and the music is composed by Ranjin Raj. The shooting of Malikappuram, which is being prepared as a pan-Indian film, is progressing in and around Sabarimala.
