Other Salzburg hospitals are facing overload

Not only the Salzburg state clinics are overloaded with the corona situation.

After the unprecedented step of an overload notification that the management of the Salzburg State Clinics (SALK) put on Monday, those responsible tried to calm down on Tuesday. SALK managing director Paul Sungler says the measure was initiated to get support from the state of Salzburg. Currently one is in the Covid step-by-step plan at level 12, in which one can care for up to 106 Covid patients in the state clinics. “We have a total of 164 Covid beds,” says Sungler.
