Apple may replace the physical buttons with touch versions

by time news

In a tweet spotted by MacRumors, analyst Min Shi Qiu wrote that next-generation iPhone 15 Pro models may replace the volume and power buttons with versions that use haptic feedback. The design will be similar to the home button that uses the “Taptic” engine to simulate pressing the button in the “iPhone 7” version.

Completion of these designs will require additional “Taptic” motors. “There will be ‘Taptic’ motors on the left and right inner sides to provide a strong feedback to make users feel like they are pressing physical buttons,” Kew tweeted.

Keough added that the new design of the buttons that work with haptic feedback and the replacement of the charging port to “USB C” will be major changes for the next iPhone Pro models.
