India’s largest car company, Maruti Suzuki, today released its September quarter earnings details. Accordingly, Maruti Suzuki’s net profit has increased by about 4 times.

Maruti Suzuki’s net profit rose to Rs 2,061.5 crore in the September quarter. Maruti Suzuki’s net profit for the September quarter of last year was Rs 475.3 crore.

Maruti Suzuki’s revenue rose 46% to Rs 29,931 crore in the September quarter. Apart from this, total sales increased by 36% in the September quarter. Maruti Suzuki has sold 517,395 cars in the September quarter. Never before has Maruti Suzuki sold so many cars in a single quarter.

A total of 4.54 lakh cars have been sold domestically. So far it has exported 63,195 cars to foreign countries. Apart from this, Maruti Suzuki also reported that there were around 4.12 lakh orders pending at the end of the September quarter.

Production of 35,000 vehicles was affected in the September quarter due to shortage of electronic equipment. In this case, Maruti Suzuki has announced that it has taken steps to solve the deficit, reduce costs and increase profits.

Maruti Suzuki stock price rose by 5.60% at the end of today’s stock trading.
