The Avengers came together to help defend Brazil from Bolsonaro | The main actors of Marvel call to vote for Lula

by time news

The main actors of the Marvel “Avengers” saga called on Brazilians to vote next Sunday in the second round and, although they did not name him, the slogans marked their support for Luiz Inácio Lula Da Silva.

They are Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Samuel Jackson (Nick Fury), Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Mark Ruffalo (Hulk) and Benedict Wong (Wong), who exchanged messages with Brazilian actors and comedians Juliette, Luciano Huck , Fábio Porchat, Thelma, Paulo Vieira and others.

Although they do not speak directly about any of the candidates, several of the cast members of the famous films had already expressed their support for the leader of the Workers’ Party (PT).

In the messages, the “Avengers” make a call to participate in the vote next Sunday and talk about issues such as education, democracy and freedom.

They all used the hashtag “Notodoheroeusacapa”, with slogans far removed from Jair Bolsonaro’s ultra-right thinking, written in Portuguese on the social network Twitter.

Lula even responded to Robert Downey Jr.’s message with a video that recalls one of the most famous scenes in the saga, but with the face of Iron Man replaced by that of the PT candidate.

In the montage, Lula appears as Iron Man fighting the super villain Thanos, who has the face of Bolsonaro, in the most exciting scene of the fourth “Avengers” movie.

“We are with you on this mission. Brazilian Avengers, this Sunday all of you are worthy of voting, something more powerful than any hammer,” emphasized the Australian interpreter of Thor.

For his part, Iron Man said: “With access to quality education, every child can create a better future. Don’t wait for it. Vote for it.”

“We stand united against oppression! Our wizards are working to protect everyone who mobilizes this Sunday to decide their future,” Wong said.

In this way, Lula added in the final stretch of the campaign towards the runoff an international support of top-level actors from Hollywood, in the framework of a dispute that has already exceeded the borders of Brazil.
