“Love Is Blind” is back on Netflix, and we couldn’t be happier

by time news

Finally the third season of “Love is Blind” returns to Netflix and we are there to devour all the episodes. This season was filmed right at the end of the second season, and this time we meet 30 new and polished singles straight from Dallas Texas. The series is actually a social experiment under the direction of Vanessa and Nick Lashea: single women and men look for love and get engaged – even before they meet.

We are all tired of apps, this meat market has completely exhausted itself, but despite our sincere desire to create a warm and loving couple system, in the real world we have a hard time doing it. The television channels have recognized this weakness and keep concocting endless experimental formats that test the lines of the poor and desperate contestants. I’m telling you, the next step will be matches based on a preference for the smell of sweat.

So let’s start with the good news: the current season is much, much better than the previous seasons. A large part of this is due to the fact that in the editing they cut down to all the couples that failed to produce a relationship and only showed us the five couples that did, it saved a lot of screen time and wasted energy in being invested in couples that do not move on. In addition, the time in the cells (“pods”) was concise and there was no procrastination like in the previous seasons, straight to the point as we like.

And for the less good news – the couples. So after finishing the embarrassing marriage proposal phase, the participants check how to manage a marital system in the real world – at a magical resort paid for by the production, living in a luxury apartment subsidized by the production and of course intimate and exciting meetings filmed by the production. I’m sure it will end well. So a little about the lucky couples (or not):

  • This is the event that brought together all the ministers in one place a week before the elections

Brannon (32) and Alexa (27)

Alexa is a rich (Israeli) Jew, who really cares about having enough space in her closet for all her clothes and of course having a financial agreement. Brannon is an innocent southern guy who thinks he can come ask her shrewd Israeli father for her hand and everything will go smoothly. Let’s just say that at the end of the meeting a set of kitchen knives, a demand for circumcision in front of the cameras and a severely traumatized southern guy are involved.

Cole (27) and Zainab (32)

A particularly nightmarish couple, a lot because of a voice that never stops comparing the Indian Zanab to the tape he usually went out with, according to his definition “girls named Lily”. Throughout the episodes Zanav is busy being hurt and Kol is busy explaining to her that she is not his taste, but connects with her character and he does not understand why she is hurt, someone explain to him, thank you.

Colin (26) and Matt (28)

Colleen and Matt seem like a good couple, but after Matt experiences a painful breakup with his ex-partner, he takes out all the aggression on Colleen, the cute, poor ballet dancer who doesn’t understand what she did wrong. Run Colin, run.

SK (34) and Raven (29)

Definitely an odd couple, both quiet and spoiled but seem to be energetically synchronized. Apart from the fact that he is a sewing student and she is expecting a stable and rich Shugar Dadi to pay her rent, so yes, apart from that they are very much in sync.

Bertiz (27) and Nancy (32)

Very reminiscent of the story of Cole and Zainab. The “handsome” Bartiz was very pleased with Nancy until the point he saw Raven at a couples meeting and realized he had gotten a bad deal at all. From the moment his superficial eyes met the pilates instructor Raven, Nancy the cat became the incarnate reflection, which put him in a complete loop of searching for excuses underground why their relationship can’t work, apparently love is not when you have a pilates instructor in front of you.
