The fight for the championship in the Premier League is heating up and Manchester City wants to reach the World Cup break in first place. The champion is currently visiting Leicester in the 14th round of the league and wants to rise to the top at least temporarily.
Pep Guardiola’s team comes into this game after an uncharacteristic run of games. The Citizens have won just one of their last four games, which included two draws and a loss to Liverpool. Now, they are looking for a win to get them back on track in the championship fight.
Leicester is one of the hottest teams in the league. Brendan Rodgers’ side have recovered from a weak start to the season and have not conceded a goal in four of their last five games. The hosts want to win a third game in a row but it won’t be easy against City.
Leicester have lost nine of the last 11 league games between the teams. However, since Pep Guardiola arrived at City, no team has scored more Premier League goals against him than the Foxes, who have done so 17 times.
