The youth league continued today (Saturday) with top battles that provided us with a lot of drama, interest and also a new leader in the 11th round. In the focus, Maccabi Netanya who ran over MS Ashdod 0:4 and rose to first place, Maccabi Tel Aviv who lost to Hapoel Ra’anana 2:1 and Maccabi Haifa who at the end of a crazy drama surrendered to Hapoel Hadera 3:2.
Maccabi Netanya – MS Ashdod 0:4
The battle that brought together the second and third place on the eve of the round promised a close game and it did not exist at all, but football was definitely there when the diamonds from Netanya ran over the champion and rose to first place.
The game was still balanced, until a yellow blitz near the halftime break changed everything and Netanya ended the first half with a 0:2 lead. The second half looked exactly the same as Usher Eliyahu was great and finished with a monstrous hat trick as he is at the top of the league’s scorers table with 10 goals this season.
Dan Roman, the coach of Maccabi Netanya, shared the feelings: “We are happy with the game, I think the players made an effort and played smart and well, and we are already looking ahead. There are good and talented players in the team whose core started already last season, and great players joined who took the team even higher. All the best to Usher (Elijah), he’s been playing amazing lately and especially today and I’m proud of him.”
Eli Levy, the coach of Ashdod, said: “It’s not pleasant. It’s never fun to lose, especially not like this, but these are games that can happen. I’m as proud of my players now as I was before the game, there are days you want to and you can’t and this was one of those days. We made some tactical mistakes and it cost us, but I’m proud of the players. The load of games with the Champions League does not affect because we have many players who can play and we rotated, today it worked less well but we are facing forward.’
41st minute, a goal! Maccabi Netanya took the lead 0:1: Omar Younes with a great deep ball found Osher Eliyahu who continued his great form and finished with a flat kick to the corner from the box.

Hapoel Ra’anana – Maccabi Tel Aviv 1:2
The yellows continue their bad period and move away from the first place, with only one point in the last three games. Ra’anana wins at the end of a rhythmic game that could have ended with many more goals, but the host doesn’t care when the goals of Tzur Rahmian and Ron Aryeh are enough for her to get the precious points.
Minute 3, a goal! Hapoel Raanana took the lead 0:1: A surprise at the opening. A big mistake by the Maccabi Tel Aviv goalkeeper, Roi Amadi, who came out of the goal and didn’t take a good shot, Tsur Rahmian jumped on the ball and kicked easily into the open goal.

90+5 minutes, scissors! Maccabi Haifa with Shvion Drmati, 2:2: unbelievable. Deep in extra time, Anan Halaili took advantage of a ball that bounced in the box and kicked a sufficiently accurate kick out of the air that went into the net.
90+8 minutes, a goal! Hapoel Hadera is amazing and goes up to 2:3: Tomer Zimmerman completed a double pass, sent a cross and Benjamin Tsega, who came on as a substitute, scored a crazy winning goal.
Hapoel Haifa – Hapoel Tel Aviv 3:0
An intriguing game between the two red teams. After a goalless first half, Sagi Ganis scored the first for the Reds from Tel Aviv in the 51st minute, Ran Binyamin doubled seven minutes later and Ganis completed a big double when he scored the guest’s third in the 71st minute. Hapoel Tel Aviv manages to recover from the 4:2 loss to Sakhnin in the previous round.
Hapoel RG – Maccabi PTA 2:1
Battle of the edges in the youth Premier League. The guest wanted to return to the track of victories and cling even more to the top after the 2:2 against Ra’anana in the previous round. On the other hand, the host needed the points after the 4:1 defeat in the previous game to Ashdod. In the 12th minute, Amir Altori put the team from the Mother of the Colonies ahead, but Ben Yehezkel equalized for the hosts in the 40th minute. We got the real drama when Aviv Yafet scored in the 93rd minute and gave three valuable points to the Petach Tikva team.
Beitar Jerusalem – Hapoel 2:1
A fascinating meeting between the two teams who come to the game with the same record after losses in the previous round. Unfortunately for the Jerusalemites, Aden Henriques arrived hot for the game and scored the first for the southerners in the 13th minute and in the 61st minute he completed a great pair that brought B.S. closer to the top of the table and complicated the host at the bottom.
