Former Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey is planning to launch a new social network and app to compete with Twitter soon.
Twitter co-founder and former CEO Jack Dorsey resigned as Twitter’s CEO in November 2021. After that, he stepped down from the company’s board in May this year.
Following this, he expressed regret about some of the issues on Twitter. He also said that he is ready to solve the current problems of social media in today’s world. In this case, he has actively started to launch a new social network called ‘BlueSky’ soon. The beta version of the app is now live.
Earlier, a social networking site named ‘BlueSky’ was founded by Twitter in 2019 when Jack Dorsey was the CEO of Twitter. Regarding this, the company said, ‘BlueSky is an integrated social networking app. Instead of being usually run on a single site, it is run by multiple sites.
BlueSky said it would be a rival to any company trying to own the data of the people who use it. The app is designed to keep users’ data under their control, giving more importance to the security of their data. User data can be recovered. It is expected to be available soon.
