Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi announces more relaxations in Covid restrictions. Abu Dhabi has waived the thermal and EDE scanner checks for entry into business establishments. In this regard, the Economic Development Department has issued instructions to shopping malls and entertainment centers. In these places, it is enough to show only the green pass.

Thermal/EDE scanner inspection was introduced in July 2021. The action was taken when the spread of Covid intensified. During the inspection, if the scanner showed red color, the entry was blocked. Officials say that the number of visitors will increase with the relaxation of restrictions.
Meanwhile, green pass is mandatory in business establishments and mask is mandatory for entry to church, hospital and public transport. After PCR test in Orak, residence visa holders get green pass for 30 days and visitors for 7 days.
