Rima and Padmapriya in Backstage
Written and directed by Anjali Menon, Wonder Woman stars Parvathy Thiruvoth, Nithya Menon and Sayanora in lead roles. Padmapriya, Nadiya Moitu and Archana Padmini are in the lead roles. The female-centric film tells the story of six pregnant women. The theme of the film is the changes that have taken place with the new generation and their perspective on the birth practices and service of the old days. Filmed in Sync Sound, there are characters speaking in Malayalam, English, Marathi and Tamil languages, but there are no male actors. The film is also the debut of playback singer Sayanora Phillips.
The shooting was completed in 12 days in Kozhikode and surrounding areas. The film, which is being prepared for Sony Liv, is being produced by Anjali Menon-owned Little Films and a Bombay-based company. It has been decided to stream soon. Cinematography by Manish Madhavan, who has done visuals for films like Aden, Joseph, Ilaveeza Poonchira.
