In a letter written to the President of Tamil Nadu BJP President Annamalai National Commission for Women, he said that when DMK executive Sadiq made a controversial comment on the stage where the state minister was present, no attempt was made to stop him from speaking.
The Tamil Nadu BJP on Saturday said that the National Commission for Women should take action against the DMK executive who spoke in a way that insulted women, especially the members of the BJP.
Drawing attention to this issue, BJP state president Annamalai said DMK spokesperson Saidai Sadiq had defamed BJP executives Khushpu Sundar, Nameeta, Gayatri Raghuram and Gautami.
In a letter written by Tamil Nadu BJP President Annamalai to National Commission for Women Chairperson Rekha Sharma, she said that when DMK executive Sadiq spoke, a state minister was present on the platform and he did not take any effort to stop Sadiq’s wrong speech.
“We believe that women in our country cannot lose their ambitions to serve the society. “While the DMK and its allies strongly condemn this behaviour, the action against Sadiq will set a precedent for those who believe they can get away with degrading women,” Annamalai said in the letter.

BJP president Annamalai tweeted that our women leaders and volunteers will hold a massive demonstration against the third-rate politics of obscenity against women in Tamil Nadu.
He said that the BJP women volunteers wanted to file a complaint with the police and since the local police refused to take action on those complaints, the BJP approached the Madras High Court seeking its intervention in the matter.
