Following the construction waste disposal enforcement operation carried out by the Kfar Saba municipality – 49 trucks with waste that was dumped illegally were evacuated
49 trucks full of construction waste that was dumped in violation of the law – these are the results of an initiative enforcement operation carried out by the Kfar Saba Municipality, through the Inspection and Enforcement Department.
The operation took place last Friday in the west of the city, following on from the operation that began during the Tishrei holidays, in the area in the 80 Green neighborhood, between the Brown factory and the complex where the Kiryat municipal communications project is expected to be built, with the move of the Herzliya studios to Kfar Saba.
“We arrived at the scene and found that a number of construction companies are suspected of dumping construction waste within the boundaries of the city – and this is according to findings found in the field,” explains the director of the Inspection and Enforcement Department, Michal Shin Ben Harosh. “We contacted the companies, fines were issued, and in coordination, an operation was carried out to clean the area led by the director of the inspection section, Mittal Shoham. At the end of the operation, 49 trucks of waste, which constituted an environmental hazard, were evacuated from the site by the companies, and were moved to an authorized waste site.”
The operation took place on the premises of the “Tia Communications” company – which is responsible for the establishment of Kiryat Kommunikation, which will include an Israeli film and television center in Kfar Saba, the transfer of the Herzliya studios to the city, photo and production studios, a school for communication professions and related trade – when the plan covers an area of approximately 8.5 dunams and promoted through the economic company for the development of Kfar Saba.
