The year 2023 is fast approaching and with it new seasons for huge and beloved hit series all over the globe, and especially here in Israel. We have prepared for you a list of the biggest series that are expected to return to the screen. And also: for which series will we probably have to wait until 2024? We’ve got you sorted!

“Bridgerton” – third season
The series that is at the top of the most watched series in the world, “Bridgerton”, is one of the huge series that await us during the coming year. After the first season of the series focused on sister Daphne and the second season on brother Antony, the third season appears to be the most intriguing when it is expected to focus on brother Colin and his love story with Penelope (Lady Whistledown in her own right). There is no official date yet, but the filming started several months ago and estimates speak of the middle of 2023.
“You” – fourth season
The beloved creepy series returns to us for a fourth season, after a year and a half of waiting. In the new season, Joe Goldberg leaves the United States and arrives in London looking for the object of his love from the previous season. The first part of the season is expected to go up on February 10, 2023, and the second part exactly one month later, on March 10.
“Beaches of secrets” – third season
One of the most watched youth series in the world, “Beaches of Secrets” (or in its American name “Outer Banks”), is expected to make a huge comeback in the coming year, estimates talk about towards the spring. The new season is expected to begin exactly where the second season ended – after the great battle in the middle of the sea over the treasure, the Pugs group arrive on a lonely and remote island, while at home they are declared missing. Netflix has yet to release an exact release date, but the initial trailer it released looks very promising.
“Riverdale” – seventh season
Another popular youth series that returns to us in the coming year is “Riverdale”, and here we are talking about the final season. After seven years of huge success, it’s time for the end of the story of the beloved group from the remote town. An official date has not yet been published, but here, too, estimates speak of winter-spring 2023, so the farewell is still far away.

“Sex Education” – fourth season
“Mini Education” also joins the flood of youth series for the coming year with a fourth season in the pipeline. There is still no exact date for the return of the beloved comedy, but considering the fact that filming began in recent months, we will probably see it on the screen towards the middle-end of the year.
“Truth or Dare” – fourth season
The beloved youth comedy, “Truth or Obligation”, will also return to us for the fourth and final season of the series. Davy’s high school years are coming to an end, and we will get more stories from her funny experiences inside the school walls. There is no expectation of an increase yet, but considering that the third season was raised last summer, the new season will probably also be raised in this time window next year.
“Manifest” – second part of season 4
One of the biggest hits of the last time, “Manifesto”, returns for the end of the year season. Netflix brought this series back from the dead after it was canceled by another broadcast network, and in light of fan demand decided to produce a grand final season of 20 episodes for the series. The first part of the season, which will include ten episodes, will be released very soon – on the 4th of November. The second part, which will include the last ten episodes of the series, will be released only next year. The rumors and rumblings talk about the area of June 2023, where we will probably finally know what happened to the famous flight 828.
For which new seasons will we probably have to wait until 2024? Unfortunately, there are other favorite series that we will not see on the screen this year. The beloved “Stranger Things” will certainly be released during 2024, as will probably the popular “Squid Game” and “Euphoria”.
