KIt has not been a good time for Bollywood for the past few years. All landing images fail. Even films that garner good reviews in the initial days fail to attract audiences later on. Same is the case with remake films. At the same time, South Indian language films have flourished wherever Bollywood has influence. Famous producer Boney Kapoor has expressed his opinion on this issue.

Boney Kapoor opined that one of the reasons why Hindi remakes of some South Indian films are not successful is because they are copy-pasted. His response was to a national media. Even the names of Vikram Veda and Jersey have been similarly plagiarized. Also, while remaking South Indian films, North Indian ingredients should be added to suit the Hindi audience.
