17 expatriates involved in prostitution were caught during the inspection

Kuwait City: 17 expatriates were arrested for prostitution in Kuwait. They were caught during the ongoing inspections in Kuwait on the instructions of the country’s First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Talal Khalid Al Ahmad Al Sabah.

Officials have been instructed to take strict action against human trafficking and violations of public decency. The Department of Public Morals Protection and Anti-Human Trafficking of the Ministry of Home Affairs arrested 17 people the other day. In a statement released on social media, the Ministry of Home Affairs said that they were arrested for engaging in prostitution. They have been handed over to the concerned departments for further action.

Kuwait City: A government official was arrested for accepting a bribe in exchange for granting a driving license in Kuwait. The Public Prosecution ordered the traffic officer to be jailed after conducting an investigation into the allegations against him. Six other non-resident suspects involved in the crime have also been ordered to be taken into custody. The charges of bribery and forgery have been charged against the accused by the Public Prosecution.
