Seven years have passed since Danieli Sonnenfeld was killed in a car accident in Samaria, and last night (Saturday) a launch show was held for the album of songs she wrote. At the exciting event, all the proceeds of which go to the oncology department at Schneider Hospital, Yishai Rivo, Shuli Rand, Avitar Banai, Akiva, Yonatan Razel, Amir Dadon Gilad Segev and more appeared.
Danieli was born in Rio de Janeiro in 1995. When she was eight and a half years old, she immigrated to Israel with her family. Upon graduation, she volunteered for national service in the oncology department at “Schneider” and at the same time volunteered with at-risk youth in Acre. She was accepted to medical studies with a score of 768 in psychometrics and intended to start studying, but was killed in a tragic car accident, on the night of the Fast of Esther when she was only 20 years old.
“Danieli’s Songs” is based on the songs she wrote since she was eight years old. The songs were composed and performed by the greatest musicians in Israel. The “Danieli Foundation” was established in her memory with the aim of initiating and supporting acts of kindness, health, education, welfare, society and more, at all levels of society in Israel and abroad.
