Jubail: A Saudi national rescued a five-year-old girl who was drowning after falling into a lake. The incident took place last day in the lake inside Jubail Al-Tilal Park. A five-year-old girl who fell into the lake while playing with her friends was picked up by local citizen Ali Al-Mari, who jumped into the water and picked her up. With the video of the incident going viral, many comments and congratulations are coming in praising the bravery of the Saudi citizen.
Ali Al-Mari had arrived at Al-Tilal Park in Jubail Industrial City with his family. That’s when the girl falls into the lake. Hearing the women screaming for help to save the child, he ran and jumped into the lake. He swam in the lake and reached the child and brought him to the shore.
The girl was given first aid and shifted to the hospital. Al-Mari was injured while saving the girl’s life. But he said that the important thing was to save a soul from death and in the meantime his injury was not a problem and he was doing his humanitarian duty.
