Muscat: On the commemoration day of Mar Gregorios of Geeverugese, who is buried in Parumala, the flag was hoisted at the Mar Gregorios Maha Parish, Muscat. The flag hoisting ceremony was held on the 120th anniversary of the patron Saint Parumala Mar Gregorios.

Along with this, the sacrament of the newly constructed flagpole was also performed. Parish Vicar Fr. Varghese Tiju Aip, Assoc. Vicar Fr. AB Chacko, Fr. Zachariah John officiated.
The festival is celebrated on November 3 and 4 (Thursday and Friday). This year’s festival services will be presided over by Metropolitan Zacharias Mar Xavieros, Bishop of Idukki. Fr. Zechariah John will lead.
