Every time many of the biggest star films in Tamil and Telugu hit the theaters this season. This time there is no change. Reports are coming out that a big budget film has been pushed back from the earlier announced release date due to stiff competition.
There are reports that the Bollywood film Adipurush directed by Om Rawat starring Telugu superstar Prabhas has been postponed. Belonging to the mythological drama category, the film was intended for a pan-Indian release in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada languages apart from Hindi. The film’s already announced release date was January 12. If the reports are true, several films may be coming at the same time, which has made the makers change their mind. Vijay’s Varish and Ajith Kumar’s Thuni are Pongal releases in Tamil. And Chiranjeevi’s Walter Veeriah Sankranti release in Telugu. Prabhas fans are waiting for the official announcement regarding the release of Adipurush.
