Perth: South Africa defeated India by 5 wickets in Super-12 round match of T20 World Cup cricket tournament.
Yesterday, India and South Africa teams clashed in the Group-2 division at the Perth stadium in Australia. Indian captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and decided to bat first. In 20 overs, the Indian team scored 133 runs for the loss of 9 wickets.
Opener KL Rahul fell for 9 runs. Captain Rohit Sharma was dismissed for 15 runs, Virat Kohli for 12 runs, Deepak Hooda for no runs and Hardik Pandya for 2 runs. As a result, the Indian team scored 49 runs for the loss of 5 wickets and collapsed, in which Lungi Nikiti took 4 wickets and caused the collapse of the Indian team.
