Apple is scheduled to release the new update for the iPhone operating system iOS 16.2 during mid-December 2022.
Apple announced the first beta release of iOS 16.2 and iPadOS 16.2 to developers and public beta testers last week.
Although it is still early days, these are the features and improvements expected to appear with the new update iOS 16.2.
Features of Apple iOS 16.2
The new update will sync live activities with certain sports on the iPhone’s TV app.
This will allow users to track games in real time through the iPhone lock screen or the interactive island in the iPhone 14 lineup.
The next feature will be the sleep widget in the iPhone lock screen as the iOS 16.2 update will bring three sleep widgets.
The first will provide the user with the number of hours he spent sleeping. The second will bring up a graph showing how good sleep you got. The third is to visually display the number of hours of sleep.
Freeform will become available to developers and beta testers. It is a blackboard or whiteboard on which to collaborate with co-workers. Also write down your thoughts or record anything that comes to your mind and share it with others.

These were the most important features expected to come with the new operating system iOS 16.2. Of course, Apple may add other features and changes at launch.
It is reported that Mark Gorman had expected that the iPhone maker would postpone the announcement of the new 14 and 16-inch MacBook Pro for next year. So we won’t see any MacBook Pros this 2022.
Finally, it is scheduled that Apple will make available the next update iOS 16.3 next year 2023. Specifically in the month of February or March in conjunction with the unveiling of new devices running the M2 chip.
