Beijing: China’s Tiangong is fully equipped to change the concept of a space station as the International Space Station led by NASA. China is one step closer to a historic birth in the space mission with the launch of the final and third module that will house the space station.

It will be the second permanently inhabited sub-Earth station after the NASA-led International Space Station. It is estimated that more than 1000 scientific experiments can be conducted here in 10 years if it starts working in full. China also promises that other countries can also use the plant’s services.

The module was launched from the Wenchang Space Launch Center in China’s southern island province of Henan. The Mengxian (meaning ‘dreaming of heaven’) module was launched on a Long March 5B rocket.
