Government to give full cooperation to control drugs in North: Justice Minister

A discussion with the participation of Justice Minister Vijayadasa Rajapaksa was held today (Monday) at 4 pm at the Northern Province Governor’s Secretariat with the aim of controlling drugs in the North.
In the said discussion, the spread of narcotic drugs in the North and the measures to be taken were examined.

Northern Province Governor Jeevan Thiagarajah, Northern Province Chief Secretary Saman Bandulasena, Jaffna District Secretary K. Mahesan, police officers, army, navy, health education department officials, doctors and departmental officials were present.

Justice Minister Vijayadasa Rajapaksa has assured that the central government will provide full cooperation in drug control activities in the Northern Province.
