Roth announced the diagnosis on Instagram. He detailed that the cancer known as choriocarcinoma took half of his hearing, 60 kg of his weight and his self-confidence. “Life is short,” he wrote. “It’s chaos. And you never know when it’s going to be you. Feel good and go to the doctor. To hell with cancer.” In his final post, a video shared in August, he thanked his followers for their support. “You don’t always get to choose your destiny,” Roth Jr. said. “You don’t always get to choose your future.”
