Janhvi Kapoor is gearing up for her next film Mili which is releasing in three days. Sunny Kaushal and Manoj Pahwa are playing the lead roles in the remake of the Malayalam hit Helen. In a recent interview with PTI, Janhvi opened up about the shooting of Mili and how it affected her mental health.
‘Painkillers were relied upon’
Being locked in the freezer is still a nightmare. “The film affected my mental health. I would come home from the shoot, go to bed, and dream that I was still in the freezer. I fell ill, I took painkillers for two-three days and even the director was not feeling well,” the actress told PTI. The actor says that he spent 15 hours in the freezer and cried most of the day. Janhvi shot for Mili in the freezer at minus 15 degrees. The actress also said that she had to gain 7.5 kg for this role.

Janhvi plays a nurse in the movie. Jhanvi’s name in the film is Mili Naudiyal. Millie, a nursing graduate, works part-time in a cafe. The story revolves around Jhanvi, who works at a cafe in the mall and gets stuck in a freezer. She is seen wrapping her body with duct tape to protect herself from the cold. Meanwhile, her family and boyfriend search for her. The survival thriller film is produced by Boney Kapoor.
