Al-Marsad Newspaper: A recent study revealed the best diet to lose weight, reach a slimmer waist and get rid of stubborn belly fat.
The study was published in the journal “Cell Reports Medicine”, and 162 participants were asked to follow a certain eating habit for 3 months, with 44 of them eating food in a limited period of time (also known as “intermittent fasting”), and 47 following a low-carbohydrate diet, While 44 participants chose a combination of the two.
Participants were also asked to eat in an 8-hour window, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., or from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.

After 3 months, it was discovered that the three eating habits supported weight loss, but the habits restricted to a specific period of time, were the most effective in getting rid of belly fat and getting a consistent body.
The study also discovered that time-restricted eating “works well with belly fat, which is fat that accumulates within the abdominal cavity and wraps around key organs such as the heart, stomach, intestines and liver.”
