After apologizing: Terzey Toma returned to training at Beitar Jerusalem

by time news

The saga is over, for now: Beitar Jerusalem’s midfielder, Terzei Toma, apologized to his teammates during the team’s training today (Tuesday), and returned to training ahead of the match against Maccabi Haifa this coming Monday. Toma faced a disciplinary committee, and is expected to receive a financial fine.

As a reminder, the midfielder was thrown out of training yesterday, on the direct orders of Yossi Abouxis, due to his refusal to shake the hand of Eli Mademon, who replaced him in the 70th minute of Saturday’s game between Beitar and Hapoel Haifa, which ended 0:0.

The midfielder from the Ivory Coast ignored Mademoun, and chose to go straight to the dressing room. Coach Yossi Aboksis told him and the players in training: “I can accept a weak ability, but not such behavior, when a player does not shake hands with the substitute.”

On another topic, Aboksis is considering making a few changes to the lineup for the match against Maccabi Haifa, when one of the options on the table is to switch to a three-stop lineup (instead of two as it was in the last few games).
