The millionaire Elon Musksole proprietor of Twitter since last Thursday, this Tuesday he advanced some of his most anticipated ideas about the future of the network, and suggested that the “premium” version of the network will cost 8 dollarsSupposedly in the United States.

In a series of tweets, he went on to clarify that that price will be “adjusted by country, in proportion to purchasing power“.

The version called Twitter Blue, so far with little success and available in very few countries, will have the following advantages: priority in replies, mentions and searches, “something essential to combat spam”, facilities to post long videos and audios and, finally, “half the amount of advertising”. And advertisers will have a “paywall”.

Musk thus comes out of the open debate since a media outlet assured that he planned to charge $20 for Twitter Blue and points out that the new system he intends to implement means “power to the people”while the current one is “a system of serfs and lords”.

As soon as these messages were posted, he began to receive thousands of retweets and responses, from those who applauded the initiative to those who announced that they were leaving the network.
