Man City – Sevilla (3-1) : Sevilla could do nothing to avoid defeat against Manchester City (3-1). Even if it was the Andalusians who opened the scoring thanks to a fine header from Rafa Mir (31st, 0-1), the Skyblues unfolded in the second half, in particular thanks to the changes made by Pep Guardiola and the entries of Rodri and Kevin de Bruyne. Man City eventually won 3-1 thanks to goals from youngster Rico Lewis, Julian Alvarez and Riyad Mahrez. The English are first, Sevilla will go to the Europa League.
La sensation Benfica
M.Haifa – Benfica (1-6) : Finally, the shock, the surprise of this day! After a fairly balanced first period (1-1 at the break), Benfica totally blew up their evening opponent, scoring 5 goals in the second half. 1-6 on the scoreboard at the final whistle, which has the effect of propelling Benfica to first place in the group, ahead of PSG yet victorious over Juventus (1-2). It all came down to goal difference, especially the number of away goals!
