“I am ready to resign. But…” – Kerala Governor Arif Mohammad Khan Challenges Pinarayi Vijayan | Kerala Governor Arif Mohammed Khan Rejects CM’s Allegations Of Political Interference By Him In VC Appointments

New Delhi: “Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, who is accusing the governor of interfering with the appointment of the vice-chancellor with political motives, let him show any example, I will resign,” the governor of the state, Arif Mohammad Khan, has challenged.

Speaking at a program held in Thiruvananthapuram last Wednesday (Nov. 2), Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said that all the universities in Kerala will be affiliated to the RSS. and accused the Governor of trying to make the Sangh Parivar organizations centers.

In this case, Governor Arif Muhammad Khan, who spoke to the media in New Delhi, responded to this allegation. He said: “The Chief Minister is saying that I am working against the current Vice-Chancellors to bring RSS people to the posts of Kerala University Vice-Chancellors.

I would like to ask the Chief Minister whether in the last 3 years I have used my authority to appoint anyone other than an RSS person. He has to show at least one example that I have so appointed. If he does so, I will resign as governor. At the same time, if he can’t show that, is he ready to step down? He who makes the greatest accusation against me must speak with evidence.

Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan is leading a regime full of fear. I have not made any accusation against Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan in the gold smuggling case. At the same time, there are questions he needs to answer in this chapter. The chief minister’s secretary has been sacked on charges of abetting those involved in gold smuggling. Did this happen without the CM’s knowledge? If this happened without his knowledge, it raises a question about the Chief Minister’s competence.

The people involved in the gold smuggling were in the chief minister’s office. Everyone should realize their own limits. The Chief Minister has rejected the Governor’s invitation. By this he has crossed the line,” he said.
