In 2019, a record number of 2.2 million Chinese tourists set foot on French soil, generating 3.5 billion euros in revenue for the country. Their absence caused the disappearance of the ecosystem dedicated to their reception in France, now deprived of all or part of its activity. Guides, interpreters, hoteliers, restaurateurs, coach operators, vendors… a multitude of professionals have been paying the price since the Covid crisis.
