The round of congratulations was also joined by the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, who wrote a tweet in Hebrew, and even added a farewell tweet to the outgoing Prime Minister, Yair Lapid.

The Prime Minister of Italy, Georgia Maloney, who took office about two weeks ago, also congratulated Netanyahu, adding that she is ready to strengthen relations between the countries, and to deal with common challenges.

The President of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky, also congratulated the Likud chairman, despite the anger he showed regarding Israel’s refusal to transfer weapons to the Ukrainians and added that he looks forward to opening a new page with the Israeli government.
