The Central Election Commission finished counting the votes this evening (Thursday) and according to the results, the Netanyahu bloc is on its way to forming a government. While leaders from around the world called to congratulate the elected Prime Minister Benjamin NetanyahuPresident of the United States Joe Biden has not yet done so.

US Ambassador to Israel Tom Neides He called Netanyahu, congratulated him on his election victory and told him that he looked forward to working with him to continue the close ties between Israel and the US.
“I congratulated him on his victory and told him I look forward to working together to maintain the unbreakable bond,” Naides wrote on his Twitter account.
Netanyahu wrote in response: “I spoke with the US ambassador to Israel and thanked him for his words. Together we will continue to bring the strong relations between us to new heights.”

Netanyahu also spoke tonight with the former US Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo. In a Twitter tweet in which Netanyahu was tagged, Pompeo wrote: “Welcome back.” He also spoke with the leaders of Hungary, Romania and Austria, who congratulated him on his victory in the elections.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky He also congratulated Netanyahu and wrote: “Congratulations to Benjamin Netanyahu for winning the elections. It is always important to see true democracy in action. Ukraine and Israel share common values and challenges that now require effective cooperation. We hope to open a new page in cooperation with the new government.”

Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modijoined the congratulators and wrote on Twitter: “Congratulations, my friend, on your success in the elections. I look forward to continuing our joint efforts to deepen the strategic partnership between India and Israel.”
