ASMD, Bisconti (AINP): “Association aims to promote early diagnosis”

“Patients with Niemann-Pick disease live their daily life in the normal way but it all depends both on the type of ASMD they are affected by and on the time in which the disease is diagnosed”. Thus the executive director of the Ainp, Annalisa Bisconti, on the sidelines of the information meeting at the end of the month to raise awareness on Niemann-Pick’s disease, held at the MoMeC in Rome. “The role of the association is to act as a bridge between the clinician and the patient to facilitate an early diagnosis,” she concluded.
