New Delhi, More than 200 employees who were working in ‘Twitter’ India were fired yesterday.
American entrepreneur Elon Musk has announced plans to cut costs and restructure the company after buying a majority stake in the social networking site Twitter.
In the first phase, he expelled the officers who were in charge of the leadership.
At present, Twitter offices around the world have been laid off yesterday in all departments including engineering, sales, and marketing.
Out of a total of 7,500 employees, 3,738 have reportedly been retrenched.
More than 200 employees who were working in the Indian branch were dismissed yesterday.
